Peter Solberg is annoyed with the fact that new Impreza 07 WRC won't be ready for the beginning of new season. He signed a contract hoping to get a new car that can help him to win the second title. New Impreza, however, may appear the next year but not on the first stage. Solberg said on that score "I will call to David Richards. I know that they need time but we also can't waste it!"
The director of SWRT (Subaru World Rally Team) Richard Taylor responded to this claim saying that the decision on this issue hasn't yet been made. He said that they prefer to have a 100%-completed car at 13 stages of the championship rather than 75%-completed one at all the stages.
