The new generation of the Subaru Impreza selling has started on 5th June in Japan.
This new generation represents a hatchback with 5 doors, new chassis with a horizontally opposed engine and with planned by its designers distinguishing features like stylish and emotional appearance, easiness in its exploitation and technical reliability.
For Japanese Subaru it is provided three power-plants: 1,5 DOHC, 2,0 SOHC and Turbo 2,0. The last engine power that is included into the S-GT model is 250 hp.
The Subaru Impreza prices are fluctuating from 1 459 500 to 2 593 500 yens ($12 000-$21 300). As company plans - 2500 new Imprezas per month will be sold in Japan.
Meanwhile new waves of negative reactions from the new generation Subaru Impreza’s WRX design are scaling down and this make’s of car fans began to make experiments on their own to improve Impreza’s appearance. As experience has shown, some manipulations with the radiator enclosure have quite acceptable result.
