At least Subaru admirers in the majority are not disappointed: Forester still has no competitors on running characteristics.
Yes, it has "grew up" on some centimeters endwise, in height and broadwise, its wheel base and weight have increased a little, its appearance is not such brutal like the first generation's was, but in its soul it's still the same real fighter!



The two-liter atmospheric engine now is packaged with a gas distribution mechanism DOHC and gives out 148 h.p. at 6 000 rev/min, turbo - 230 h.p. at 5 600 rev/min, and the maximal turning torque is 32.5 kg at 2 800 rev/min. Plus - the motor regulation system SI-DRIVE, allowing depending on a manner of driving to choose the most suitable mode to provide a maximum of profitability or a maximum of dynamics.
