Well - there are already the first lucky beggars who have tested new Subaru diesel engine. Journalist Matt Prior on pages of his blog has laid out the first impressions abounding with enthusiastic statements:
"I've become the first journalist in the world who has received keys from new diesel motor Subaru Legacy. It is named the most remembered and long-awaited novelty of the next 5 years. These are absolutely new sensations! The main thing can be said already now: it is the fantastic engine!
This is the first diesel boxer which has inherited from its petrol brothers all advantages - a low centre of gravity, compactness, power and excellent reaction. Apparently it even will be more economic, than less powerful engines established on Ford Mondeo and Volkswagen Passat. And one more very important addition: it is VERY still. Perhaps it's the stillest diesel engine in its class. "
