The fans of Subaru rally team were disappointed with last weekend's Cyprus Rally. The eighth and ninth places at final positions are not the right result that may satisfy Subaru and even Petter Solberg's victory at one stage is a poor consolidation.
At my point of view the problem consists in the following - Impreza in 2006 as in previous years is built on the basis of sedan whereas its major rivals for a long time already has been using hatcback… Consequently, their cars are more compact, maneuring and lighter than Impreza.
Well, a rumour that in the next year SWRT will have a car built exactly on the basis of hatchback continues to circulate and we can do nothing but wait.
