Arabians had deceived anybody then, reported that they deeply disagree israelite people and if somebody will sell something to Israel, then the arbians will not buy anything from them. But arabians did not buy anything even from that ones who did not sold anything to Israel. But this trick had an influence on the manufacturers, as the arabian population is more numerous than jews. Thus for long time in Israel the cars has not been officialy delivered.
In the middle of seveties, the Fuji Heavy Industries company has taken a reasonable decission for itself anf for Israel and ignored the arabian boycott. And within a very short time the Subaru cars became very popular in Israel. Till present the Subaru cars are preffered in Israel, even the last models are a little expensive. A Jewish person in a Subaru car is a person who really respect his own country. In general, each person of average income has a Subaru car. For any social layers, the Subaru car is a must. Some politicians drive a Subaru car, even they could drive a better car.
Of course many new cittizens choose other models, apart of Subaru. But the most important thing is how you will be treated!
