For today, it is the most sad news of my blog: on December, 16th Fuji Heavy Industries has extended the press release that the Subaru team will not participate in WRC since 2009!
FHI participated in rally for last 19 years, together with Prodrive they built charged cars which have been tuned on a victory. Subaru has subdued many people with its unique opposed engines, symmetric full drive and has won army of admirers in the entire world. Without participation in rally hardly we could have now that Impreza. Why it was taken the decision to leave the World championship on rally?
The world crisis has come and... the SWRT team became a victim of decrease in expenses of the company. Sad news, isn't it?!
We will continue to look after Subaru and we hope that the company will change it's mind in a year or two.
